Within Egypt
We want you to receive the right product in the condition promised. This policy applies to purchases delivered within Egypt and distinguishes change-of-mind returns from claims about a defect, damage or an incorrect item.
Changed your mind? Return within 14 days
You may request an eligible change-of-mind return within 14 days of receiving your order. The product must be unopened, unused and in its original condition, with factory seals intact where applicable. Include its original packaging, accessories, labels and any gifts supplied with it, along with your order number or proof of purchase.
Opening, using or activating a product may make it ineligible for a change-of-mind return where the applicable legal exceptions apply. This condition does not remove your rights if the product is defective or does not match what was ordered.
Defective, damaged or incorrect item?
If the product is defective, does not work as intended, is not genuine, does not match its agreed description, or is the wrong item, contact us within 30 days of delivery to request a replacement or refund under the applicable consumer-protection rules.
Opening the packaging to discover or test a defect does not by itself invalidate the claim. Please report shipping damage promptly and keep any available packaging and photos to help us investigate. Your statutory rights are not conditional on reporting shipping damage on the delivery day.
Who pays return shipping?
ZOKA covers the return costs for eligible statutory returns within Egypt, including eligible 14-day change-of-mind returns and 30-day defect or non-conformity returns. No restocking fee applies to these eligible returns.
If we agree to a discretionary change-of-mind return outside the mandatory statutory entitlement, the customer pays the outbound and return shipping costs quoted and agreed before collection. The opened-item terms below apply only when expressly approved.
When a change-of-mind return may not be accepted
- An item opened, used, activated, damaged or changed by the customer, where it cannot be returned in its original sale condition and a statutory exception applies.
- A personalised or specially made item that matches the agreed specifications.
- Other categories excluded by applicable consumer-protection rules, where relevant to the purchased product.
Missing packaging or accessories should be disclosed when requesting a return. These conditions do not automatically exclude a valid defect or non-conformity claim. Damage caused by misuse after delivery is not treated as an original product defect.
Opened but changed your mind? An optional 80% refund
If an opened item is not eligible for a statutory change-of-mind return, we may accept it as a discretionary exception following inspection and approval. The item must be fully working, undamaged and complete with its original packaging and all accessories. This is not an automatic entitlement.
If approved, the refund is 80% of the amount actually paid for the returned product, after any discount. The remaining 20% is retained as the agreed opened-item deduction. The customer also pays both outbound and return shipping costs.
Before collection, we will provide the shipping charges and estimated net refund for your agreement. Shipping costs are charged only once: any shipping already paid is taken into account, and only unpaid agreed charges are deducted from the refund. Final approval follows inspection; we will explain any issue before completing the return.
This option never replaces a mandatory statutory return, a valid defect or non-conformity claim, or any right to a full refund without additional charges.
Refunds & exchanges
For an eligible defective or non-conforming item, replacement or refund is handled within one week of your request, as required by the applicable rules. Refunds are made using the original payment method, or an alternative method agreed with you where necessary.
For other accepted returns, we issue the refund within 14 business days of receiving and inspecting the item, unless a shorter legal deadline applies. Your bank or payment provider may take additional processing time. We will explain the refund arrangements for cash-on-delivery orders when confirming the return.
For a change-of-mind exchange, we can arrange the return and help you place a new order. Warranty rights that continue after the return period are unaffected.
How to request a return
- Open your orders, select the order and choose Request return. Select the items and the reason for return. For a problem with the item, include photos or a short video if the form allows.
- Submit your return request through the order page. We will confirm the next steps and arrange the appropriate return or inspection process. Wait for the return instructions before sending a parcel so it reaches the correct location.
- Remove passwords and device locks, sign out of personal accounts and back up or erase personal data before returning a device, where safe and possible. Tell us if a fault prevents this.
This policy does not limit any mandatory rights under Egyptian consumer-protection law. If a policy condition conflicts with a mandatory legal right, that right takes precedence.
